Jean Madden

, CMO at Next Gen Foods

A veteran in the industry, Jean leverages her experience in brand development, disruptive product innovation and digital-first marketing campaigns to create content that connects consumers with the Next Gen Foods mission in a genuine and authentic way.

Jean spent the last 12 years of her career helping to shape and grow other fast-moving consumer goods companies. Her tenacity and versatility are just some of the reasons she has been recognised with two prestigious Cannes Lions awards. Jean believes in the critical importance of sustainability, and TiNDLE, the ridiculously good chicken made from plants, is simply the first brand under Next Gen for her to champion that.

Hans-Georg Höllerer

, VP at BLUU

Hans-Georg Höllerer is VP Product & Marketing and part of the senior leadership at BLUU Seafood. He is an economist by training and started his career in the biotech practice of Boston Consulting Group. Afterwards, he was a manager at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, involved in government relations and lobbying and scouting innovative research groups and companies for the foundation. Since February 2022, he has been part of the leadership at Bluu Seafood, a foodtech company based in Berlin, Hamburg and Lübeck, which produces tasty seafood products directly from fish cells.

Roland Große

, entrepreneur, investor and member of the advisory board at Planted

Roland’s investment focus is on plant-based game changers with a clean ingredients strategy and on circular economy startups. He’s a Co-Founder of SACKWORKS – a circular packaging-free solution for the mass market - and performing market access for Einfach Mehrweg by Sykell. Previously, Roland was a retail executive at companies like Lidl, Kaufland, and REWE Group across Europe and, more recently, in Q-commerce.

Christian Gonzales

, investor at Planet A Ventures

Christian is an investor at Planet A Ventures, where he focuses on early-stage start-ups, tackling some of the most pressing impact-related issues in the food, manufacturing, real estate and construction sectors. With more than ten years of experience in the world of innovation, he has worked as a scientist, consultant, entrepreneur and business developer in both the chemicals and biotech industries. Christian holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge.
